Where the mountain spirits danced

A couple of snippets from the last few days when Anna and the rest of the Ishinoko kitchen team made my dream come true and made me photograph the Ishinoko festival of this year. During those days, when the earth was roaring with the last heat of the japanese summer, we cooked, ate, danced and sang. There was crispy,creamy, bitter, fermented,sweet. Takigahara locals, along with travelers from all over the world shared and learned from each other and cultivated a lovely inner landscape.
